Ndovu Films is a South Carolina 501(c)(3) nonprofit using cinema to build sustainable support for hunger relief, housing, education, and entrepreneurship.
Our origin
A service mission shaped after Hurricane Helene.
After helping communities in Asheville following Hurricane Helene in October 2024, Demetris A. Jones founded Ndovu Films around a clear conviction: storytelling can do more than raise awareness—it can help finance sustained social change.
The organization is building a long-term model in which film production, partnership, responsible revenue, and transparent community investment reinforce one another.
