Ndovu Films is selecting one independent filmmaker for the first Indie Alliance pilot: a focused production partnership built to move a ready short-form project toward completion.
Who should apply
A ready filmmaker with a finishable story.
Priority is given to filmmakers in Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina with a narrative short or documentary project that can reasonably be completed within 90–120 days.
Applicants should be 18 or older, control the submitted material, have a completed script or documentary treatment, and be prepared to collaborate, meet deadlines, document the process, and satisfy production-release and rights-clearance requirements.
What the pilot currently offers
Practical support without inflated promises.
The inaugural pilot is designed around the resources Ndovu can responsibly provide today.
Production access
Access to currently loaned production equipment, subject to scheduling, insurance, training, and written agreements.
Completion path
Technical support, post-production guidance, and distribution-readiness planning.
The pilot does not guarantee cash funding, specific donated equipment, distribution placement, revenue, or audience results.
