Equipment partnership · Indie Alliance
Help Ndovu Films establish nonprofit-owned production capacity for independent filmmakers creating work designed to move audiences and strengthen communities.
A clear starting point
Ndovu Films is beginning the pilot stage of its Indie Alliance with its first filmmaker. The program is designed to pair production support, mentorship, equipment access, and a route toward distribution.
Current production resources—including a cinema camera system, lenses, location sound, and monitoring equipment—are loaned by The Elephant Room Ltd Co. Ndovu Films does not yet own a complete production package. Equipment partners can change that.
A Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro package, Sigma lenses, location sound equipment, microphones, and monitoring tools are currently made available through a third-party loan.
A nonprofit-owned kit will allow Ndovu to schedule productions reliably, protect donated assets, train participants, and grow filmmaker access responsibly.
Partnership opportunities
Ndovu welcomes practical conversations with manufacturers, retailers, rental houses, distributors, software companies, and experienced production professionals.
Cinema camera bodies, batteries, media, cages, support systems, and dependable production accessories.
Cinema and still lenses, adapters, matte boxes, filters, lens-control systems, cases, and maintenance support.
Field recorders, wireless systems, boom and lavalier microphones, timecode tools, headphones, and audio accessories.
LED fixtures, modifiers, stands, power solutions, rigging, carts, safety equipment, and transport cases.
Production monitors, calibrated displays, editing hardware, storage, color tools, software, and workflow support.
Product education, technical mentorship, demonstrations, certification opportunities, and professional workflow guidance.
From equipment to impact
Donated equipment gives Ndovu Films reliable, mission-dedicated capacity instead of depending entirely on borrowed resources.
The equipment supports selected independent filmmakers with production guidance, mentorship, and a practical route from concept to distribution.
Ndovu’s model uses film revenue to help build support for hunger relief, housing, education, and entrepreneurship.
Responsible stewardship
Ndovu Films will document donated assets, maintain checkout and usage records, establish trained-user requirements, secure and insure equipment as resources allow, and report how partner contributions support productions and participants.
Recognition can be tailored to the contribution and may include website acknowledgment, production credits, approved campaign recognition, demonstrations, and impact updates. No outcome or audience reach is guaranteed.
